Let's settle one of Britain's biggest debates. No, not tea or coffee (coffee for sure). Not cream before jam (meh..). Today we're answering the question nobody has ever asked. Tiger or Puffin?
Now before anyone reaches for the keyboard, yes, we know Tiger Sheds are a well-known name in the shed world. This isn't that kind of comparison. This is simply a completely scientific, highly researched, absolutely unbiased look at which animal would build the better garden shed.
Round One – Strength
A tiger is undeniably powerful. Fast, muscular and capable of taking down prey many times its own size. Impressive. But also slightly overqualified for building a shed.
A puffin, on the other hand, is built differently. Stocky, tough and surprisingly strong for its size. Built to withstand harsh coastal weather, crashing waves and some of the roughest conditions Britain could possibly throw at it. Rather like a properly built wooden shed. No unnecessary drama. Just quietly gets on with the job.

Tigers like to be noticed. They're loud. They're dramatic. Everything about them says, "Look at me." Puffins? They're much more understated. Quiet confidence. Hard-working. Reliable. The sort of character that turns up every day, gets the job done properly and doesn't need to shout about it afterwards. That feels much closer to how we like to handle business.
Round Three – Construction Skills
Here's where things start to fall apart for the tiger.
Imagine both animals arriving on site at 8am.The tiger jumps out the van looking impressive. By 8:15, he's chased the apprentice into a hedge, eaten the site manager and is asleep in the shade by 9am. Not ideal.
The puffin arrives five minutes early. Kettle on. Tape measure out. Checks the plans twice. Builds the shed square. Sweeps up before leaving. If you've ever had tradesmen at home, you'll know which one you'd rather see pulling onto the driveway. We know where our money's going.
